Abstract

Based on the current situation of a large number of drug and medical device online sales enterprises and relatively weak regulatory forces, as well as existing monitoring functions and technical foundations, Shanghai drug regulatory authorities deployed an robotic process automation (RPA)-centered drug online circulation supervision system to conduct safety and compliance monitoring of third-party online platforms and platform merchants. The drug online circulation supervision system adopted six RPAs to continuously scan mainstream online trading platforms and builds a multi-dimensional big data identification model for illegal acts. Through computer vision, deep learning, data comparison and other means, online functions such as online circulation monitoring, illegal act determination, online clue verification, electronic evidence collection, intelligent analysis, and enterprise information services were realized. Relying on the framework technologies and tools of “regulating the internet with the internet” and “governing data with data”, the efficiency of drug online circulation supervision was improved, and application scenarios such as overall construction of whole-chain drug supervision, provincial intelligent network monitoring, regional network supervision integration, case clue verification management, and regional network monitoring database were implemented and promoted.
