Abstract

Objective  To rapidly identify the chemical constituents in Yaokangning decoction by ultra performance liquid chromatography quadrupole time of flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS).

Methods  The sample was performed on a ACQUITY  UPLC BEH C18 column (150 mm×2.1 mm, 1.7 μm) with 0.2% formic acid water methanol as the mobile phase system by gradient elution. The injection volume was 3 μL, the column temperature was 40℃, and the volume flow rate was 0.5 mL·min-1. The chromatographic effluents were detected by electrospray ionization in positive and negative ion mode.

Results A total of 10 chemical components were identified by comparing with reference substances and combining with literature, including kaempferitrin, baohuoside I, puerarin, calycosin-7-O-β-D-glucoside, paeoniflorm, schaftoside, ononin, salvianolic acid B, octacosanoic acid, and 4H-1-benzopyran-2-carboxylicac.

Conclusion  The established method can systematically and quickly analyze the chemical constituents of Yaokangning decoction, which could provide an important basis for the quality control and pharmacodynamic material basis study of Yaokangning decoction.
