Abstract

The field practice of medicinal botany is a important field practice course for the major of traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacy, which effectively integrates theory and innovative practice. With the core goal of cultivating students' scientific research, innovation and practical abilities, the field practice of medicinal botany integrates artificial intelligence (AI)+virtual simulation intelligence technology under the traditional model of identifying and collecting medicinal herbs, and strengthens students' thinking about traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine. After completing the field practice, on the basis of mastering the professional basic knowledge of medicinal botany, students can receive further assistance in conducting entrepreneurship training and graduation project design. Meanwhile, their learning interest has been greatly aroused and the teaching effect has been significantly enhanced. The course adopts a result-oriented full-process teaching assessment, achieving a significant improvement in teaching and learning. Therefore, the field practice teaching model of medicinal botany based on the orientation of scientific research innovation practice is of great significance for promoting the improvement of students' innovative thinking and scientific research practice ability, and for promoting the cultivation of innovative talents in pharmacy.
